Canadian Student Buys Properties in US and Invests with Success!

"Last year I started my mentorship program with Trump University in an attempt to learn the business of investing in foreclosed properties. As a Canadian citizen, I wanted to become familiar with lucrative opportunities in the United States where foreclosures were hitting an all-time high. My mentor, Troy Peterson, trained and supported me for months, teaching me the ins and outs of real estate investing. Troy also directed me to the right people and taught me exactly what information to look for -- he has been a great contributor to my success.

After conducting my research, I concluded that the real estate markets in Las Vegas and Phoenix were the best cities to fix and flip properties within my budget. After months of research and communication with realtors, lenders, and investors, I decided to make trips to Las Vegas and Phoenix in January of 2009. During the trips, I met realtors, investors, wholesalers, and lenders, touring the city and neighborhoods and concluding that Phoenix provided the best market for my investment.

Thus far, I have purchased multiple properties, fixed, and flipped them. I am continuing to expand my business in order to purchase more expensive houses with higher profit margins. "My initial interest in Trump University began after reading many of Mr. Trump's books on wealth creation and real estate success. Curious, I attended the Real Estate Investing Training Program offered by Trump U. This experience proved to be a major factor in my choice to abandon my profession as a sales manager and begin a career as a real estate agent in Richmond, Virginia.
